Base Engine Leader

Job Description:

• Support sales and customer management teams on technical discussions with customers
• Deploy the legislation and customer technical targets to engineering targets and propose technical solution according to targets; if GAPS are present, propose alternative solutions
• Plan and lead the execution of the specific activities for Proof-of-Concept confirmation to demonstrate the feasibility of the technical solutions
• Evaluate timing / resources / materials estimation for the proof of concept.
• Feedback the Project team (ACE / CE) with structured technical report and clear outcomes
• Lead and coordinate the engineering functions (FPT China and HQ) through the feasibility study and analysis
• Support and provide the technical guidance to outsourcing activities with third Companies
• Support the technical discussion with suppliers for core component’s development, including Statement of Requirements review according to the product target during project execution
• Support the problem solving inside the development team during the project execution
• Main point of contact for engine-related technical assessment inside PE China
