Job Summary
Define and implement VI technical strategies including product portfolio & roadmap, customer interaction, and product process and quality for VI EMEA and APAC region; support front end to gain market share and aggressive business growth.
This role is combined with R&D, Field Application Engineer, Product line, and key player to drive product delivery from Ops as well.
Job Responsibilities
1. Be part of key standardization team (global and regional), to influence new standard, give feedback to business divisions on coming impacts
2. Ensures successful implementation of product roadmap within the budgeted time and cost to meet customer needs. Identify new business and/or new projects, and manage the pipeline together with technical/commercial team
3. Leading VI design, from concept to product
4. Understand and consolidate customers′ commercial and technical needs and opportunities, support VI selection and design in, customization of VI for different target markets (EMEA, APAC), be part of business impact
5. Work closely with other functions to ensure the product delivery e.g. sales, lab, production, process, quality
6. Arranging technical trainings for both internal (sales, process, production, quality) and external customers
7. VI benchmarking: understand VI market and competitor, technology trends, standard and regulation drives, to support VI 5 years roadmap generation
8. Develop team capability to enhance VI technologies and application, and enhance team effectiveness
9. Develop a health talent pipe line of VI engineering team, both RD and production engineering
