Job Description:

Position:Head of Sales, China

Job objective:
Define a customer strategy in cooperation with the VP Global Sales as well as establishing and mentoring a successful sales team in China. Furthermore, the function is responsible for the achievement of the customer-related targets, development of adequate measures and their implementation.

Main tasks:
• Establish the business relationship with the European & Chinese OEM
• Development and implementation of the sales strategy for Chinese OEMs aligned
with the CC corporate strategy
• Achievement of the acquisition targets in the region
• Building, structuring a strong sales team in China driving the growth
• Keeping track of market trends, future products, technology, competition and incorporation into the company strategy
• Compliance with the standards specified in the integrated management system (IMS) and the required customer standards
• Participation in developing and implementing the sales strategy in the region and actively driving the company's growth in China

Qualifications & Competencies
• Qualification as Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer or comparable degree
• Min 10 years’ sales experience in Automotive Tier1
• Market, product and process knowledge from the automotive supplier industry, especially for Chinese OEMs
• Good customer network with European and local OEMs
• Experience in building a new customer structure, new business prospect
• Proven sales success record or promotions of new products would be advantageous
• Ability to economically interpret operating results and deviations as well as formulate and implement measures (Sales, EBITDA, etc.)
• Business Fluency in English

• Subordinate: Key Account Manager, Regional Sales Representatives
