1 Ensure Environment, health and safety compliance with Japan regulatory requirements and global/regional requirements.
2 Ensure HSE training plan in place and ensure its implementation.
3 Lead risk assessment (HAZOP/JHA) for entire site and take actions to mitigate the risks.
4 Document performed work, all check sheets completed in timely manner and track the action to ensure timely closing.
5 Facilitate the HSE programs (e.g. 0 accident, 5S, Healthcare, HIYARIHATTO, HSE patrol, tool box meeting) carry-out routine HSE meeting with documentation
6 Keep all incidents investigated, Root Cause analysed and the action tracked.
7 Get prepared for the emergency response and crisis management
8 Setup the Process Safety Management system in site and take the actions to mitigate the process safety risks.
9 Monitor the environmental/health aspects to make sure the environmental and health facilities are in good condition.
10 Communication and report to external / local authorities / associations like city fire department, labour office, labour standard association, inspection companies etc.
11 Continuously improve the HSE Standard Operation Procedures and HSE management system.
12 Well motivate and develop the people, e.g. HSE specialist and HSE coordinators.
