Job Purpose
Primary job of the Account Manager is to manage automotive value chain, including OEMs and tiers, to achieve series commercial KPIs. He or she should work closely with MDTS, SCM and BU to identify opportunities, spec in material, develop and execute commercial plan to ensure sustainable business growth in a specific territory.
Job requirements/competencies:
Bachelor / Master degree in Polymer Chemistry / Mechanical Engineering
Extensive experience of Automotive or related industry in China
Good knowledge of Automotive customers, products and value chains
Demonstrated understanding of marketing tools and techniques
Excellent commercial sense and professional negotiation skills
Excellent English and Chinese
Effective communications and influencing skills
Ability to work under pressure
Job Responsibilities
Account Management:
Maintain good customer relationship
Well understand customer demand, provide high quality sales forecast and well execute commercial plan
Work together with internal stakeholders to meet series commercial KPIs
Translation:
- Identify and maintain business targets at customer base
- Select, introduce and approve grades at specifying customers
- Acquire business and projects at new & existing customers
- Execute projects including product, process and application validations
- Coordinate business start up internally in SABIC and at customer base
Market Intelligence & Expertise:
- Identify market needs & trends, share them with Industry Marketing & Product Mgmt. - Identify new customers & new business opportunities
- Maintain targets & projects in Siebel
- Build and share application, product, processing & characterization know how
- Effectively and efficiently feed & use company‘s internal support functions
