Objectives of the Position
Reporting to Head of Market Development, Skin Care, Personal Care Solutions, Care Chemicals Asia Pacific, you will
Drive sustainable profitable growth in respective industries and customers in Asia Pacific by setting and implementing industry strategy based on appropriate market intelligence
Maximize profit from various industry segments with re-investment target (or expansion) regionally
Translate regional strategies into specific market measures the respective segment and implement them with the subregional Business Managers of Personal Care Solutions (PCS)
Main Job Responsibilities
Develop regional Skin care industry segment solutions for regional and local teams
Collect market intelligence from key markets, feed market intelligence into organization and scout for new business potentials
Ensure market intelligence flow within PCS team such as Product Management, Local Sales and R&D teams
Initiate new product and concept developments based on market needs and demand analysis. Drive marketing projects for specific customers with Sales and Application Technology
Develop and implement communication plans for relevant industry stakeholders and collaborate with Communication Team and Consumer Insights Team for advertisement, exhibitions, customer events, advocacy, and promotion tools execution
Educate organizations on markets and strategies via external events, trainings etc. Also represent the business as consultant for technical trainings
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical or relevant disciplines
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in technical service, sales, marketing in the related industry or market
Proven track record in technical promotion of personal care specialties
Excellent command of written and spoken English, other Language is a plus
