Objectives of the Position
Reporting to Head of Regional Market Development, Personal Care Solutions Asia Pacific, you will
Lead and manage the Business Development Beauty Care Solutions team, and develop team competence
Drive sustainable and profitable growth in Bio-active in Asia Pacific by implementing industry strategy
Translate regional business strategy into specific market measures for Bio-actives and implement it with Subregional Business Managers
Main Job Responsibilities
Lead Beauty Care Solutions business Development and provide direction to the respective market development teams
Develop regional industry strategies with input from regional Product Management and local sales management
Collect market intelligence from key markets, feed market intelligence into organization and scout for new business potentials or investment and M&A opportunities
Consult skin care, hair, body and oral marketing for new product and concept developments including Bio-actives
Develop and implement communication plans for relevant industry stakeholders and collaborate with Communication Team for advertisement, exhibitions, customer events, advocacy, and promotion tools execution
Lead, launch and grow new Bio-active products by identify emerging regional trends; map the gap between the global Bio-active portfolio and regional demand
Scout new sources, products, and technologies to enrich Bio-active portfolio and commercialize it with the supports from Product Stewardship and Product Management
Educate the organization on markets and strategies via external events, trainings etc. Represent the business as consultant for technical trainings
Represent Asia Pacific at Bio-active global virtual team
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Marketing, Business or related discipline
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in cosmetics industry
Expertise in the personal care industry with proven track record in technical promotion of personal care specialties
Knowledge on the related markets and products, preferably cosmetics development
Excellent command of written and spoken English, other Languages is a plus
