Job Description:

Main Tasks:
-Drive global and regional R&D projects/topics, monitor gates and milestones and document
-Work on own research projects/ topics with lab chemists
-Observe and assess market trends and competitor activities (products, patents, literature)
-Steer the organization to maximize innovation impact for the short-, medium- and long-term activities and implement measures
-Maintain and further develop synthesis expertise within the research team
-Strengthening and driving sustainability topics as biobased chemicals and biodegradation
-Represent technical expertise, internally and externally. Ensure expert network beyond BASF by actively engaging in relationships and collaboration with institutes and academia
-Plan and manage resources (e.g. headcount, cost, capex, etc) and connect the team with global network in R&D
-Implementation of development plans for team members and proactively driving their performance and development
-Drive compliance and EHS according to BASF standards within the team

工作要求
Requirements:
-Education: PhD degree in organic synthesis/ polymer synthesis
-Working Experience: minimum 6 years in a related field or minimum 3 years senior manager in similar working environment
-Professional English in speaking, reading and writing
-Superior communication skills within the organization and external, proficient in computer skills and ability to lead a team of scientists and lab chemists
