Job Description - Research and development activities with respect to new Products. - The development activities comprise developments of new products as well as development of process modifications or even new processes to make new products available, - Creating self-initiated solutions and driving patentable product or process solutions, - Autonomous execution of development projects, - Evaluating development results with regard to the quality requirements of the product by initiating and evaluating shop floor trials and laboratory tests, - Technical analysis of customer needs in cooperation with business development and creation of technical solutions in consideration of costs, product quality, availability of production means, - Presenting solutions of new developments to customers, especially to their technical departments. Qualification - Profound technical knowledge in mechanical engineering, knowledge in development methods appreciated, - Good knowledge in production technologies, - Knowledge in fastener technology appreciated, - Good skills in working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), - Skills in CAD-Software (Siemens NX) appreciated, - Skills in project management, self-responsible autonomous working within an interdisciplinary team, - Flexibility to react to changing demands, - Open and friendly appearance with the skill to present development results to customers, - Willingness to travel, - Fluent English language skills in speech and writing. Experience - Experience in the development of technical products - Preferably, experience in the development of technical products was gained in a first industrial engagement or scientific research work. Education - University Degree in mechanical engineering, preferably with focus on design and product development
